These factors are average reported gas prices, grocery costs, median home list price, median household income, median rent, sales tax and unemployment rate.
The 10 best cities for saving money, according to the report, are:

2. Plano, Texas
3. Lubbock, Texas
4. Kansas City, Mo.
5. Chandler, Ariz.
6. Virginia Beach, Va.
7. San Antonio, Texasplano
8. Fort Wayne, Ind.
9. Omaha, Neb.
10. Tulsa, Okla.
